as supermarkets, schools, hospitals, banks, places of worship, the
post office are available within the Fort area itself, other than
that there are many places to see like the ramparts, the light
house, the Dutch museum, a colonial type hotel, a library etc.etc,
it is about two & half hours drive to Colombo & close to most of the
towns along the Southern costal belt of Sri Lanka, from this
location.
DESCRIPTION
It is a spacious luxury bungalow, elegantly furnished, the ground
floor consists of a spacious sitting & dinning room area open to the
rear courtyard/garden behind with a entrance facing the Rampart road
(adjoining the Ramparts), there is one bed room on the ground floor
with an attached bathroom & an elegant & spacious pantry area with
fitted cupboards, the upper floor consists of a small sitting room
area with a long balcony overlooking the Ramparts & the sea, there
are three spacious bed rooms (including a master bed room) with
attached bathrooms, on the upper floor.
GARDEN
There is a medium sized landscaped rear garden area with a sit out
verandah, surrounded by a high parapet wall with a high wooden gate
for the entrance
FACILITIES
The house consists of Titanium cut cement & tiled flooring,has split
type air conditioners for all of the rooms & hot water facilities as
well, all of the rooms are elegantly furnished (including king size
double beds) & imported light fittings, all of the bathrooms are
fitted with standard imported sanitary ware & consists of individual
shower cubicles.
The bungalow will be leased on per day basis, as double rooms or the
full house.
